Paul, Congratulations on writing one of the most intelligent and wonderfully written novels I’ve read in a long time. I’m always looking for new authors with bright ideas, and this folks, is a indicative sample. The characters feel personal and alive. And I enjoyed the quick read, not to mention the font!! I’ve never had such an easy time reading a large novel, especially with my poor eyesight.

I bought this book 2 days ago, and intended on reading the first chapter when the book arrived. 6 chapters in and I couldn’t let this book out of my grip. Thank you for your book, your ideas and that you put them on paper for endless enjoyment.

What initially attracted me to the novel was the book cover; it is absolutely stunning. But that’s not all, the author is brilliant. He skillfully captivated my attention and kept me hooked until the very end. If you haven’t already read it, you really should.

Congratulations Paul for writing this fascinating novel about the complex interactions and symbiotic relationships between the robotic and human world!
Machinia is a must-read for every one and anyone who cares about technology, humanity and the future of our society. It challenges your logical and analytical mind as well as encourages your imagination and creativity!

  12. Jim Irvine

I thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully imaginative book. Suspenseful, inventive, and with a touch of romance thrown in the mix! The interaction of robots and humans, and the possibility of a distinctive hierarchy of robots imagined in this novel mirrors today’s class structure. I would like to see a sequel. ‘RETURN TO MACHINIA’? Excellent read!!

  13. Carolyn PW

This book is one I have been waiting to read and all I could think of is how gorgeous this story would be as a movie ! Captivating suspenseful writing. Explores themes before it’s time- the future hierarchical relationships between humans and machines. I felt this mirrors current class and power structure in society today and how we can overcome our implicit bias. I can’t wait for book 2! Tell me there will be a book 2? Absolutely could not put it down the last 90 pages.
